Cops probe baby girl’s death at day care - Local & Regional - BostonHerald. B oston police and the state Department of Social Services are investigating the unexplained death of a 3-month-old baby girl, who reportedly went into cardiac arrest yesterday afternoon at an in-home day-care center in Roxbury. Before then, neighbor Pres Johnson, 22, said Reyes called him in a panic and was apparently going door to door, trying to find someone to resuscitate the baby. Johnson’s mother, Beverly Johnson, who recently took a CPR class with Reyes, said, “When I looked in (Reyes’) eyes, she looked like she’d had a nervous breakdown. George Rivera, 37, said the baby who died had recently been sick for three weeks, during which time she was not in Reyes’ care. read more
