Yoga Poses

Yoga postures series should not be confused with mere exercise, calisthenics, which help strengthen and develop muscles. Asanas (yoga poses) are special positions of the body that strengthen, purify and balance the endocrine, nervous and circulatory systems.
If you practise Asanas regularly, your body will gradually achieve greater endurance, your spine will become more flexible, your body will come to its natural weight and rid itself of toxins, you will breathe more easily, you will gain energy, your circulation will improve, your blood pressure will normalize, you will have an easier time coping with stress, and you will have more pleasant thoughts and fewer negative emotions.
You should practise Hatha Yoga in a small room, situated in a solitary place, and free from disturbances of all kinds.
The room should have a small door, be free from windows, reasonably free from dust and dirt.
The following are the common Asanas (yoga poses).
Swastika-asana Keep keep both hands on both knees, with the body straight and comfortable.

Gomukha-asana Place the right ankle on the left side and the left ankle on the right side.
