MyYogaOnline Hatha Yoga – Creating Internal Balance

myyogaonline asked:

http://www.MyYogaOnline.com The emphasis in this hatha class is on asanas involving twisting postures and movements. Twists release tension in the spine and increase shoulder and hip mobility, thus help to create structural balance. Twists stretch and open back muscles, and in this way are great for relieving backaches. Twists rejuvenate and revitalize internal organs and glands, keeping these important systems of the body healthy and balanced. Yoga Postures include: Navasana , Sukhasana.

“Have this mind among yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross… At the name of Jesus every knee should bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord…” PHILIPPIANS 2:4-11.

I think nobody cares about your true Hatha. HA HA. I will stick to the fake one rather than clean my anus with a finger and go mushroom hunting in to the wild.

Hatha Yoga is most toughest form of yoga.Staunch celibacy is needed because you cannot practice breath retention without it.This is not true hatha.A true hatha yogi has a body which no fire can burn.A true hatha yogi is immortal.Every practice in it is contrary to what the normal human does.Ever tried cleaning your anus with your middle finger? It is also a simple hatha practice.Every hatha yogi goes into the wilderness in his first forty days.Whatever he learns he learns it during that period.

I’m 17 and in the worst shape of my life[serilus flab and loss of flexibitilty], but I didn’t find it that hard…I did feel the buzz at the end though

Hm, I’m only 23 and in the military (work out very frequently). I’m only about 115, and strong. I mean- really good condition. But I followed through this video on a whim and OMG this is 1.) not easy and 2.) STRANGE. My whole body is *buzzing* after trying it. I have more flexibility from simply going through the motions here than from 1/2 hour of stretching out for a warm up. Plus, despite my strength/stamina, I had no idea how much balance I had lost in the past few years. Thanks for the lesson
